@ThePhillyPod@Capsoffpodcast He was a healthy scratch because he wasn’t productive the entire season and wasn’t needed. Remind me, was he successful after he left the Eagles?
@MiaForTrump No, just move on from him and never talk about him again. Everyone needs to forget he existed and move on. If you go
after him, it’ll just keep him relevant. Make him irrelevant.
@TheGoodPhight I wish they’d get creative and try to trade for a guy like Casey Schmidt or Heliot Ramos. I’m sure SF isn’t shopping them but I think they’d at least listen. They gotta be creative. Can’t just look at rentals. There could be guys available that everyone thinks isn’t available
@mccrystal_alex So many saw this coming, but so many also wanted to resign him because of the stupid reasoning “who do you replace him with” My answer was literally anyone. They could have found a catch somewhere to hit .210
(I do like his defense though and how he handles the staff)
@TheGoodPhight I’ve been critical but man he is proving me and the others wrong. Looks so confident at the plate. Also looks like he has a plan. I hope he keeps it up.
@PhilsTailgate@FuturePhils He played outfield in college. He’s slow. Hopefully he’s more like Pat Burrell defensively (slow but will catch everything he can get to)
@Pat_Egan AJ won’t be replaced by one guy, he will be replaced with 3. Wicks, Brown and Cooper aren’t AJ, but each of them can do some things that AJ could do. They had two #1 receivers, they only needed one. They also added a slot and a second TE. They’ll be fine. It’s up to the QB now.
@PhilsTailgate Young people, let me introduce to Curt Schilling. When was the last Phillie to strike out 300 in a season? He did it two seasons in a row. He belongs in the top five
@PhilsTailgate Schilling was an All Star in 1997, 1998 and 1999. He struck out over 300 batters in two of those season. I’d add Schilling to that list and take down Lee.
