Here's a great write up on the Wye Valley in @NatGeoUK. Exploring the history of tourism in the area, and sections on Ross on Wye, Symonds Yat, Monmouth, Tintern & Chepstow (with an appearance from @Mon_Heritage's Anne Rainsbury!).

What a disgrace!!Ethically and environmentally terrible! Meat like this should not exist in the world and certainly should not be Imported in to our country. I really hope it will be labelled appropriately and through education people will not buy it. https://t.co/63gqw0bUcx
@the_chickenshed@WelshGovernment@UKHofficial@NickRamsayAM Totally agree, we have bookings @thewhitebrook as each week goes by we have cancellations for July & August, if we are told we can open we will have no guests, we need 6 weeks notice to be up and running. We are having guests wanting to book for July as English restaurant open
Still no further forward today for Welsh hospitality @WelshGovernment there needs to be much more guidance, we need timelines, not wait 3 weeks and see. If we are not able to trade in August how do we contribute to furlough? @UKHofficial
Government at Westminster, Holyrood and Cardiff must invest in a fair and timely return for hospitality this summer, for the benefit of local communities, peoples’ jobs, national wellbeing and the British economy.

@UKHofficial Yes this is a pragmatic evolution of furlough scheme, if the whole of the UK restaurants open from July, still no guidance today from @WelshGovernment when Welsh restaurants to open, how do we contribute to furlough if not trading in August?
Part 1: @canteentweets would love to have a journalist at today’s press conference, the hospitality industry wants facts, answers and clarity about the future of their businesses and their staff.
Part 2: Please @BBCNews, @itvnews, @guardiannews, @thetimes and @Telegraph ask @BorisJohnson what the Government’s exact measures to support hospitality will be, what are the terms of the grants, the loans MUST be interest free and will the government underwrite workers wages?
The new gouvernement point system proposal will be disastrous to our industry Already 20% of Europeen do not come any more to work #UK & many europeen skilled workers leave UK back to their country creating a huge skill shortage.then aminimum wage of £25.000 would be hard to meet
