This Morning in Church
See your self as an integral member of the gathering
Like paul taught ," no part of the body can say to another ,I don't need you "
We must see ourselves as ministers one for another and to another
John .F.Kennedy ,the famous American President once made a vital statement about citizenship ,he said
" Ask not what your country can do for you,but what you can do for your country "
It applies to us believers in the local churches we belong to
Many attend church to receive miracles ,the Word,welfare etc
But it's a two sided coin..
What are you doing for others also ?
Ephesians 4:16 teaches how every joint supplies ..
What are your regular and effective supplies in the local church
Who are you praying for or with this morning ?
What services are you offering for others? Helping with car park ? Ushering ? Cleaning of rest rooms ? Attending to visitors ?protocol for pastor ? Singing ? Sound ?
What financial contribution are you making this morning ?
It's not proper to sit on chairs paid for by others,enjoy facilities provided for by others and treat serving there with nonchalance .
Yes,we call the gathering Gods house but the facilities and services were provided for by men like you .
So let me ask again
What are you doing for your church this morning ?
Find something !
That said
Don't forget to pray for the service and join in pre service prayers too
Pay attention during church
Anything for children's church ?
Anyone to call or pick up for service ?

This is Sunday Morning

Another time and day in Church meetings
A new month as well
All believers Must give account of their lives and ministries to the Lord
We shall all be judged
Paul teaches that we judge ourselves
How would you judge the last month?
How punctual were you?
Did you reach out to the unsaved?
How many invitees did you have last month
How much did you give through the month
Did you make church prayer meetings?
How many teaching tracks did you listen to?
What was your contribution to your department?
How many did you meet their needs in your local church?
If you find these questions awkward, then get prepared to be in tears at the judgment seat of Christ as more intricate things will come to the fore
,
However,there's a new month to make adjustments.
Start today,go through last week's teaching
Draw a plan on how you will listen to a teaching track at least weekly
Invite someone each week
Win a soul weekly and see to it that they get established in church
Hurry up now
Pick someone for service or call them up
Don't miss pre service prayers
Pray the pauline prayers, this morning Philemon 6
Remember to take writing materials
And oops, pray for pastor too
Have an excellent service

It's church this morning again

Nothing displays the Christians maturity like his commitment to other believers

Paul never ceased to mention the love for all Saints alongside faith in Christ

Gatherings are required since it's called " body of Christ "

This assembly is the body ,local church

It creates accountability and service

This morning ,go beyond attendance

Assemble ,identify, share and fellowship

This is done by

Availability ( this includes punctuality ,so get in before it starts , lateness often shows contempt)

Accountability

Service

Learning

Let this ring loud today and after

Don't race off after church services

Get more committed

Ensure you also pray the Pauline prayers (Ephesians 1:16-23,3:14-21,6:18-19) for the church and leadership

Give ( Galatians 6:6,1Timothy 5:17-18,1Corinthians16:1-2)

And be blessed

You have a spirit filled service

Believers Convention 2025

Why you should attend Believers Convention(times of refreshing)

This is a special meeting started 2004 but had been preceded since 1995 by a special meeting tagged " Rivers of Joy, seasons of refreshing "

It puts together teaching sessions to stir the believer into ministering the things of the spirit and be so ministered to as well.
It does this with strong emphasis on our identification with and in Christ, in ministering the spirit.

Taking a cue from Kenneth E Hagin, we have meetings, what he taught as Holy Ghost / Believers Meetings,
The Word taught and preached, given first place
The spirit given room for expression and demonstration. In this the believer is walking in the manifestation of the spirit, which he has already
Needs are ministered too by the cooperation of all believers present, and where the unbeliever comes in, he receives salvation.
We leave via the door of rejoicing.
This is the summary of what we expect and will see during these meetings.

These are two different worlds they shouldn’t even be placed side by side, more reason the church needs to stay focused on its purpose. This is a spiritual world nothing is economic about the church

“This whole EFCC and VDM is a distraction”.

Maybe it is. Maybe it is not.

But if you have a brain,
You will consider something:
How is it a ‘distraction’ when so far it has only succeeded in making the govt look bad, tyrannical, inhuman and with this, they have actually demarketed Nigeria?

So again I am asking:
How has this ‘distraction’ benefitted the govt in any way?

You people say the most asinine things when you don’t like someone. I’ve said it many times- I’m not a fan of VDM. But this is not simply about him.

When you see blatant injustice and say nothing because you hate the victim, the day will come when that very hammer of injustice will fall on you and you will wish that there are people who will speak out for you.

If you only care about injustice because you like the victim, then you don’t actually care about injustice.

Again if you have a brain,
You should know this “distraction” does NOT benefit the govt in any way and maybe it’s not actually a distraction and it’s just another episode of govt-sanctioned criminality and illegality.

Stand for what is right- even if it will benefit someone you don’t like. Stand for what is right, because it is the right thing to do.
