Every time you grace our screens in TV discussions, there's a dominant narrative of #Kukis as the lone victims. Yet, I often notice an absence in championing the collective spirit and integrity of #Manipur. I can't help but feel that many, including yourself, seem to draw a line between being #Kuki and being Manipuri. Is the broader idea of Manipur not a shared sentiment? Or has the discourse subtly been steering towards '#Kukiland'?

The unfortunate incidents at the relief camp deeply sadden me. However, with allocations for hill districts having grown from 33.48% in 2016-17 to 45.75% in 2020-21, the pressing question is: why does development in the hills still lag?

Let's ponder on a few potential factors:
1. The alleged extortions by #KukiMilitants— when such claims persist, what incentives are there for external investments?
2. Observably, our esteemed MLAs and top-ranking officials, many from the Kuki community, channel investments into the urban sprawl rather than their native hill districts. For instance, several upscale malls in Imphal can trace their ownership back to these officials.
3. Developmental resistance, like the Kuki protests opposing the National Sports University, further stalls progress.
4. And many more nuances which you might be better versed with.

Moving past pointing fingers, isn't it time we all reflected and shifted our focus to a cohesive, forward-moving Manipur? I'd love to hear your insights on this.

And one more thing: STOP PLAYING VICTIM CARD ALREADY.

The inaction of the PM Modi to solve the issues in Manipur, his silence for months is a clear sign that he doesn’t give a damn about us. He gets time to meet the cricketers. He got the time to have photo shoots in Lakshadweep. But he doesn’t have time to even talk about Manipur for months. It’s not about BJP or Congress. Congress ki matamdasu miyamna pamdaba thabak mayam touramba yai. Adubu, houjikti BJP gi government ni leirise (both in center and the state). Congress ki matamdadi adu tourambani hairaga BJP na houjik touribasi yai haina justify tourakkanu.

Manipur became peaceful after decades under Ibobi’s rule (I’m not a congress supporter). Houjikti kari sare. Bomb thanammega, kaplamlega na wai chaire. Extortion is at the peak. Eikhoidi hingbada warene bondhu. Biren na matik chadabadei nattro touribase.
