almost a month since ‘Love For You’ ended, but i still want to write about how i feel about this drama. first, this wasn't a drama i expected to fall for. i didn't follow it from the announcement cast, booting, or filming, and i just watched the first six episodes out of pure curiosity when it first premiered 👩🏻‍💻

LFY isn't a perfect drama, nor is it a masterpiece i'd blindly recommend to everyone with exaggerated praise. but somehow... it's my drama. the plot is just as "wild" as its title. i am new viewer for this kind of plot where the ML and FL are introduced under the label of "unlegal-family”, yet somehow i stayed until the very end (although not in real time because of how busy i've been). and i genuinely want to appreciate everyone who worked on this production!!!

Given the stark differences in these characters, how did you understand the logic behind their core and personalities? when shaping these characters, what details and design in acting did you make to distinguish and bring them to life?

👸🏻 ZhuYun had more protection than MiaoJing, MiaoJing could only rely on herself. So ZhuYun was retaining a childlike maturity, but MiaoJing was maturity that forced her to give up her naivety. To ZhuYun, reunion was caring if the other person was doing well, her first reaction upon seeing the other party would be heartache, because she received enough love, so there was more love she could give. But to MiaoJing, facing their reunion had her heart set on solving the mystery, loving him and taking him to escape.

👸🏻 ZhuYun's redemption comes from witnessing the beauty of the world, which is why she wants to take LiXun with her. MiaoJing's redemption comes from witnessing the darkness of the world, which is why she won't allow ChenYi to continue to rot. So when acting, I would showcase ZhuYun's strength of warmth, and MiaoJing's as strength of resilience.
