I don’t even blame Macron for telling “ill mannered Africans” to shut up😏
I blame any African that attended that event thinking France can help Africa move “Forward”
Ya’ll deserve to be treated like the idiots you are✌🏾
Men really come online and say the women of this generation are weak our moms generation used to suffer! Why won’t you guys sign up for suffering?
Oh you’re too good to suffer?
🤣🤣🤣
And they really think they’re logical in their outrage😅😅
Anti-D has gradually risen from 6500 to now 8-9k. Two shots amount to nearly 20k.
SHA's maximum maternity cover is 30k (and this is for a CS delivery).
Refusing to cover Rhesus neg moms is downright cruel. The only universal thing about SHA ni vile wanatubeba ufala.
Relationships are so beautiful when you and your partner are genuinely great friends. You show up together, share inside jokes, talk openly, have fun, and totally vibe like besties. They shouldn’t replace your actual friends, but it’s amazing when the dynamic isn't just romantic.
It's day 6 of me sharing African women who shaped the social and political fabric of our continent yet you may or may not know about them.
Today, I am talking about Field Marshal Muthoni Kirima. One of the women who fought in the Mau Mau rebellion for independence of Kenya.
In 2018 in Nairobi through a friend, I met Muthoni who narrated to us her story in the forest part of the rebellion that cost the British Empire millions and millions of pounds until they granted Kenya's independence.
When Muthoni was narrating her story to us, she mentioned other women who were in the forest in the Mau Mau rebellion such as Wamuyu Gakuru, Grace Nyaguthii, and Njoki Waicere. One could never imagine what it means to be a woman in a rebellion while also surviving patriarchal violence from the same comrades.
Muthoni passed away in 2023 angry that in all the narrated stories about the Mau Mau rebellion, women were omitted or not celebrated as their male counterparts meanwhile the women were the heart of the movement. They carried information, mobilized, fundraiser, grabbed arms while also carrying the domestic work.
I carry Muthoni's anger today and the anger of all the women who dared, who organized, who worked and laid their entire lives for their nations and yet their contributions often erased.
My dear fellow sons and daughters of Mungu, I promise you that "tourism" is a false god that brings you no prosperity. It a fake pseudo-industry that creates next to no actual wealth for the people and places it exploits, and reduces the value of said people to mere trinkets and experiences.
The worst part about this video is that the only time it shows any black people is only where they are an aesthetic backdrop to the "magical experience" being advertised. The subconscious message being passed is that all of Kenya and its 99% black population are just a temporary experience for rich white people to enjoy.
You can draw a straight line from messaging like this to the existence of large numbers of abandoned mixed race children in Kenya. Everything there - including the buxom damsels - is meant to be a "magical experience" after all, and magical experiences never last long.
For the love of God, leave tourism alone and build factories, power stations, factories and more factories like every other nation that escaped poverty has done. Give Kenyans access to real productive power and wealth, and stop advertising these beautiful African people as aesthetic landmarks and busty bed warmers to muzungus who are having their post-divorce midlife crisis.🤦🏿♂️
The Kisii Community in Kenya used to perform traditional head surgeries (craniotomies). The traditional healer known as Omobari Umutwe or ababari emetwe. The surgeries would last around 45 minutes and would be carried out under a tree (outside) and is said to still be alive.
Your words stayed with us, @leonora_ahinga. The gratitude, the faith, and that quiet promise to 'try again tomorrow.'
To celebrate your journey, we’re gifting you and your son return flights to Mombasa and a two-night stay at @MombasabeachH.
Here’s to finally feeling that adrenaline up there and to the beautiful memories you’ll create together. ✨

This is despite many, many odds. Imagine what we can become in this country without all the many odds.
The story is when my grandpa was having a heart attack in the living room and his wife, who he beat, kicked, punched, humiliated and emotionally tortured, called the neighbour and rushed him to the hospital…
At what point do we admit the collapse of public education in Kenya is intentional? Delayed capitation, unpaid teachers, poor infrastructure, curriculum and policy chaos, and now a 28% KCSE pass rate? This goes beyond incompetence.
