The tone and approach on the early release of dangerous prisoners today from the Labour Government on our opposition day debate brought by
@KemiBadenoch has been simply atrocious.

Standing up for women and girls is too often just rhetoric from them.

It is staggering and shocking that those hugely strong women who came to speak to us today in Parliament about the dangers they felt in the community as the hideous predators they have bravely brought to justice with their testimonies have now had letters saying these monsters will soon be back on their local streets.

This is a huge failure and will stop other women and girls from speaking out. As too many said today. Just what is the point. This is a terrible state of affairs and choices from Labour. We made it clear again today we will do what we can across the political divide to help. That stands.

Reform, Lib Dems, and nearly all Labour MPs couldn’t be bothered to vote.
