Message from Alex: it was my final day volunteering at the Clinic today. It's been such an inspiring journey. We've managed to reach 100 clients today which totals 50 hours of free legal advice. At a rate of £200 an hour, that's £10,000 that has been saved by the local community.

In the next week, we will be reaching an important milestone: 50 hours of free legal advice. If a solicitor would charge £200 per hour, we are looking at a potential saving of £10,000. I'm very humbled by the solicitors and Citizens Advice who have helped make this possible.

We have our launch event happening tomorrow (Friday 26th) at Citizens Advice Chelmsford with local MP Vicky Ford attending the launch! We will now be opening the service every Tuesday and Friday, so please get in contact with us if you would like a free legal advice appointment!

Great news everyone, we will be reopening the service within the citizens advice building later this month! The Clinic will now be able to offer legal advice appointments in Housing, Immigration and Employment as well as Family. More information to come!
