Here's a piece of literature by me, suitable for seventeen-year-olds in Alberta schools, unlike -- we are told -- The Handmaid's Tale. (Sorry, kids; your Minister of Education thinks you are stupid babies.)
John and Mary were both very, very good children. They never picked their noses or had bowel movements or zits. They grew up and married each other, and produced five perfect children without ever having sex. Although they claimed to be Christian, they paid no attention to what Jesus actually said about the poor and the Good Samaritan and forgiving your enemies and such; instead, they practised selfish rapacious capitalism, because they worshipped Ayn Rand. (Though they ignored the scene in The Fountainhead where “welcomed rape” is advocated, because who wants to dwell, and also that would have involved sex and would de facto be pornographic. Well, it kind of is, eh?) Oh, and they never died, because who wants to dwell on, you know, death and corpses and yuk? So they lived happily ever after. But while they were doing that The Handmaid’s Tale came true and Danielle Smith found herself with a nice new blue dress but no job. The end.
Listen Asshat,
Your lies about Remembrance Day were juvenile.
Don't double down.
How about you just shut it for 24 hours?
Show some respect for people who take Nov. 11 seriously.
Btw... let us know when you have passed a security clearance.
For the good of the country.
PM @JustinTrudeau asked about impacts of potential 🇺🇲 10% tariff on 🇨🇦 Canadian exports.
"We know that even as the @realDonaldTrump administration is significantly concerned about international pressures, particularly overcapacity by China and unfair trade practises by China, Canada is aligned with the United States already, and we're going to be able to do good things together.” #Cdnpoli
Things I know about our PM...he won't persuade us to invest hard earned $ into BITCOIN, won't run the country on B.S. slogans, he WILL invest in low income housing, WILL work with cities & bypass premiers refusing to work for Canadians & he WILL work to feed our hungry children.
Don’t believe the bots. Trudeau has done a good job and this most common voter complaints (cost of groceries, rents and gas) are NOT controlled by government. Conservatives are trying to trick Canadians into misunderstanding how our government works. #IStandWithTrudeau
Hey morons.
Trudeau doesn’t set your power costs.
That’s provincial Conservatives.
Trudeau doesn’t manage your healthcare.
That’s provincial Conservatives.
Trudeau doesn’t set school curriculums.
That’s provincial Conservatives.
If you had the first clue about how things worked, maybe you wouldn’t be so fucking gullible.
If only.
So today’s big idea is to do away with electronic vote tabulation machines, because the UCP “doesn’t trust them.”.
Bullshit.
There is no fucking reason to downgrade from vote tabulation machines unless David Parker and their Dark Arts team are planning to steal the next election.
These fucking losers need to be decisively voted out once and for all.
After we call the UN to monitor these banana hammock wannabe Republicans.
@TRexMD780 It was the same for teachers under Lagrange who constantly undermined teachers with unprofessional curriculums, low salaries and large class sizes. Parents blaming us for their child falling behind as they voted for the UCP who cut resources to the bones.
Today a patient told me he refused to write letters to his MLA supporting Family Docs despite phone calls by advocates. His reason: "You're all the best paid in the entire country. You don't need any help. They're lying, you're all fine"
My soul broke.

800 police officers at the Chiefs parade
1,000,000 people at the Chiefs parade
All 1,000,000 of those people were allowed to carry guns to the parade under Missouri’s weak gun laws
But sure, tell me again how more guns equals more safety…
Doug Ford says he’s spending $72M to create a 10-person LTC investigation unit. $72M. For a 10-person team.
Their catered lunches and official uniforms must be simply magnificent.
I have to admit that I find it interesting our neighbours in BC & Sask are able to produce enough energy meet their demands and ours during this cold snap.
It's almost like the unregulated private for-profit energy grid we have in Alberta has serious issues.
Nah, can't be that.
It’s not lost on me that Alberta and Texas are the only 2 locations that, in recent memory, have had their power grids privatized and in the wake of extreme cold weather, are the only power grids to have rolling blackout warnings.
I’m *sure* it’s just a coincidence.
I cannot believe what Alberta has become.
Our power grid has been privatized and now it is the most expensive in Canada.
Our healthcare system is a disaster.
Education is a wasteland.
The UCP has bot-farms paid for with public tax dollars to attack citizens.

Now Stephen Harper and Pierre Poilievre’s anti Ukraine makes more sense, right, Rubes?
This is fucking wild. The notion that a Canadian can support Poilievre after reading this is beyond the pale.
His anti-Ukraine stance is a lagging indicator of his real intention. To abandon Ukraine for Putin, Orban, and Harper.
