It's been a joy and honor to represent my corner of Mt. P for the last 4 years. I'm grateful to have had the chance to serve and to get to know so many wonderful people. Thank you to my neighbors who put their trust in me in two elections. I'm going to miss this role very much.

ANC is a strange position. It's entirely too much to reasonably fit in an unpaid role, which sets up unrealistic expectations. There's an unbelievable learning curve. There's not exactly any "real" power. And yet there's still an ability to make change in the place you call home.

Heading into the 19th & Lamont planning process as a new ANC in 2019, I was worried. Neighbors had had some sharp disagreements over the course of years about what *should* happen and there was a lot of confusion around what *could* happen & what the process would look like. 1/?

Today it opened to the public. And despite the frigid wind, neighbors have been eagerly checking it out. Seeing the designs come to life and realizing how this will bring joy to so many people for years to come is one of the greatest feelings ever.

@dcdutchiedude @allinsea Sure thing! Thanks for the bike racks. At least a year ago I remember letting the DPR project team know DDOT had just ordered a bunch of racks and was looking for spots for them & it would be nice to have some here. So happy to see them!
