@BecMcGee What you are describing sounds like a standard science conference dinner - well based on the ones I've been too and heard about (the following day of the conference) hahah
@WriteUpAU Masks are one method but SARS-CoV2 is known to enter the body via the ocular route (Happy to link some papers). I'd say wearing any multilayer mask (even the N95 for those on the front line or immunosuppressed) and eye protection is far better than mask only.

Haven't had a throat swab before but I have had a nose swab. I have also performed a nose swab. Ah the things I do for teaching labs at work.

@BecMcGee The swabs have always been taken from both locations- increase the detection capacity. Mouth then nose is better than nose then mouth from a bacterial point of view :)
