Hi guys! Please follow @SamCFC_footy .
Due to some unavoidable circumstances I have decided to move to a new account. It'll be the same account with all things related to Chelsea, my views on players, managers, the beautiful game and of course, fanboying over Lionel Messi.
RTs appreciated💙
Arsenal 2nd highest net spend in the league over last 10 years, behind Utd. Chelsea are 3rd.
Utd and Arsenal also have higher net spend than Chelsea over last 5 years. Even after Chelsea spent £9.8b on 3 players.
Chelsea have won the CL, CWC, FIC, UCL, Super Cup in that time.
After signing Eberechi Eze, Arsenal’s net spend is now higher than Chelsea over the last 10 years.
Trophies won in that time:
Chelsea -every domestic, European, and world trophy they could possibly win in club football.
Arsenal - two FA Cups
Chelsea back it up with trophies.
I’ve been positive since the match but one thing I didn’t like was Colwill doing that celebration, he should know he hasn’t been good enough, multiple mistakes this season and hasn’t been the leader we were promised by fans. You score against Southampton, at least Neto first did it in a huge game.
Coming into this season, Caicedo mentioned in the interviews he did that this season will be much better than his last.
This season: Arguably the best midfielder in the league and one of the best players in the world.
This is what it means to be a DAWG!!!
I will forever cherish the way Chelsea managed to win their 2 UCLs. Especially in 2012, as a young fan who used to watch the game for entertainment and wasn't much into the tactical side of things, the way we defied all odds was so special.

Chelsea FC's Evolution Under Different Managers: 2004-2024 🧵 🧵 🧵
Over the years, Chelsea FC has seen several managerial changes, each bringing his own tactical style and philosophy. Let’s break down the evolution from José Mourinho’s first spell to Mauricio Pochettino ⚽ 🔵
My bad- I missed one of the most important phases of our club with Rafa Benítez
Rafa Benítez served as Chelsea's interim manager during the 2012-2013 season. His tenure was short but impactful, leaving a mixed legacy among fans due to his association with Chelsea's rival Liverpool and criticisms at the club for his stubborn attitude and ruthless nature.
🏆 Key Trophies:-
1 UEFA Europa League Trophy (2012-13)
📊 Tactical Shifts:-
Benítez is known for his pragmatic and tactically astute approach
He employed zonal marking which he got a lot of criticism for but he stuck to his principles and beliefs and delivered.
He had a robust defence and liked to use the pace of his attackers like Hazard for quick attacks. He believed a lot in squad rotation as well and was often regarded as ruthless. His tactical acumen was mostly suited to knockout tournaments compared to leagues.
His style of play was more fluid than Roberto Di Matteo and he also placed a decent bit of emphasis on set pieces.
@Blue_Footy Nkunku in between the lines. So he can play quick passes with jackson and break down their mid block and score.
Felix would do the same but I don't trust him on his final decision
@falsewinger@OkoeborN Nkunku will never perform to the required level as a striker. Play Felix as the striker and nkunku as the 10 he'll show his quality
