A New Houthi Information Operation Campaign Built Around "ูุฐูุญูู" [Dhal Heen]
The Houthis are increasingly using the Yemeni Arabic expression ูุฐูุญูู, roughly translated as โHow about now?โ or โWhat about now?โ, as a form of psychological warfare and online mockery directed at their adversaries.
The phrase is used to taunt opponents who have dismissed Houthi threats, predicted military setbacks, or questioned the groupโs capabilities. Whenever the Houthis claim a battlefield success or carry out a previously threatened attack, supporters respond with ูุฐูุญูู as a way of saying, โWhat do you have to say now?โ
