@SeedOilScout@PubKey_NYC Is there a way in your app to search for all of the dine fearlessly restaurants across the entire US?
I’d like to filter for that designation specifically rather than the current cuisine or tag options
@andotvu For anyone that just wants to do this themselves... borosilicate glass meal prep containers are amazing.
You can put them in the freezer / oven / dishwasher 🤌
Looks like the chef uses the same ones I have for years:
https://t.co/1pD6arlztR
Cool seeing the interest in this and moving away from microwaving plastic containers!
I've been meal prepping like this for my husband and I for 5+ years
Borosilicate glass containers are the secret
They can go in the freezer AND the oven
One of my best kitchen investments 🤌
Some of my friends in NYC started a private chef as a service to automate meal prep + split the cost + it saves me a ton of time:
Actually healthy + yummy meals delivered weekly in glass containers
They’re expanding the group and I have a few invites left, reply if interested!!
Home territory vs external territory
This information is a must-know for men who want to lead their families in the best way possible. Once you understand this, it will completely change how you approach leading your family.
Why is understanding territory important?:
Because the endocrine and neurological systems respond to territorial inputs.
Understanding and optimizing territory is the key to optimally expressing these systems. The biggest determinant that you've set up your territory correctly is how you've delineated home vs external territory.
Home territory is the protected space.
It is where the women, children, and elderly members of a tribe spend most of their time. The women spend their time nurturing and gathering safely in the home territory. Both of these activities require low-stress/low-threat to do well.
The home territory is fully defended and defined by homeostasis.
Home territory is so important that women and children are biologically adapted for it.
When women and children are outside home territory, they lose homeostasis (stress, neuroticism). This occurs in modern life just as much as tribal life.
(Women using social media, for instance, takes them out of the home territory and portals them into external territory.)
This brings us to external territory. This is the non-defended space. This includes the periphery (the border) and the open range (the economic zone) which both present opportunities to stimulation and reward, as well as risk and hazard.
Men are adapted for external territory. Their biology is more adapted for this type of stress, especially if they venture out into external territory as a group.
A group of men is like a moving "home territory" it is a defended mobile space, allowing men to maintain homeostasis even though they are amongst risk and hazard.
The job of men in external territory is to deter threats and extract economic resources. In tribal times, this was big game hunting. In modern times, the open range is business: physical or digital.
Just as men going out into external territory as a group maintains homeostasis and exponentially increases success-rate, so it does also when men combines forces in business in modern times.
Most men are not aware of this delineation of territory and make a myriad of mistakes:
- They let their woman constantly venture out in external territory and are surprised when this makes them neurotic
- They frequently go out into external territory alone and achieve mediocre results with a high cost to lost homeostasis (stress).
- They do not understand modern equivalents and don't see that social media is "external territory."
- They are afraid of the open range in general and opt to join the territory of stronger men and "gather" in that protected territory.
The home vs external territory distinction is the primary driver of our biological design. It is more important to get right than nutrition.
Men who properly delineate these zones and set up their family for optimal hormonal expression will create a territory that is by far the most enjoyable for all parties.
Project Ice Storm: how pregnant women exposure to stress can change DNA of offsprings.
An extreme ice storm hit Québec in 1998 (first winter I spent in Canada post immigration: what a welcome that was)
Scientists from the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and McGill University have detected a distinctive ‘signature’ in the DNA of children born in the aftermath of the massive Quebec ice storm. Five months after the event, researchers recruited women who had been pregnant during the disaster and assessed their degrees of hardship and distress in a study called Project Ice Storm.
Thirteen years later, the researchers found that DNA within the T cells - a type of immune system cell - of 36 children showed distinctive patterns in DNA methylation.
Changes in immunity and sugar metabolism genes were observed, putting them at greater risk of diabetes, obesity and asthma.
Super interesting as it wasn't due to the emotional stress response, but due to the objective stress exposure: week without electricity for example.
Your thoughts dictate your hormones
People have a hard time wrapping their heads around this. You can raise your testosterone by changing the way you think.
We know this. Cortisol is a steroid hormone directly produced by anxious + stressful thoughts
Elevated cortisol suppresses testosterone by using up all your pregnenolone. It also inhibits the release of Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), resulting in less luteinizing hormone (LH) & follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). No LH or FSH, no testosterone production in the testes
Elevated cortisol also increase SHBG, which binds up your free testosterone & biologically inactivates it.
So the act of chilling out in & of itself will increase testosterone. But you can take it one step further.
Your body increases testosterone production in response to situations that require more testosterone:
- Competition
- Mate seeking
- Winning + Accomplishment
It's a positive feedback loop. Testosterone makes you desire High T activities. High T activities release more testosterone.
This is why people can have horrible health habits but still have high T. Their actions, behaviors & environment outweigh the biological stressors that would otherwise inhibit synthesis.
This is why people have higher T levels in prison then they do when they were free men. In spite of the fact that prison is a horrible place for proper endocrine function (inside, high stress, poor nutrition, excess blue light)
This applies to other hormones & neurotransmitters as well. Your thoughts about food and body image influence your hunger & satiety hormones (ghrelin + leptin respectively)
Your immune-related hormones are also impacted by your thoughts (Interleukins, TNF, Thymosin, etc). This is why hypochondriacs literally think themselves into sickness.
What I'm trying to say is that you can do everything right from a biological standpoint, but if your thoughts aren't in congruence, you're fighting an uphill battle.
Remember, its a positive feedback loop. Use T-boosting tools like fighting, heavy lifting, herbal supps & nature to get into high androgen states. Use that androgenic state to reform new thinking patterns & behavior.
In short, gaslight yourself into higher T
@richardhoangbui @BTgamblingDegen @Grimhood oh jeez I've tried these exactly in sparkling water but it's fizzed like crazy and then killed the carbonation so I thought it wouldn't work for some reason - maybe I was using garbage sparkling water?
Gotta try this again!
I'd also love for you to post (since I can't) the SPAMMING for affiliates...
I bought your product, loved it, and wanted to share it. I remember DMing you and you being very cold about it but brushing it off.
Please go ahead and post and let others be the judge.
Can you READ, or has anger blinded you?
I never said I didn't have access to the PDF, I pointed out how your blocking me fucked up all my external links to your twitter posts.
PLEASE, George, show me where my "shady copy pasted posts" are.
Copying health info to what end?
