Frantz Fanon died in 1961, aged 36.
The same week, The Wretched of the Earth was published. And on the very same day, the book was confiscated and banned in France.
This film is based on that book. 📕

THE TERRITORY is more than a film. As a co-production between the Indigenous Uru-eu-wau-wau people and an outside film team, important creative and business decisions were made collaboratively #TheTerritory
The Uru-eu-wau-wau association was a production company on the film, and profits were shared equally among creative partners. Now, the team is engaged in an extensive impact campaign led by the Uru-eu-wau-wau themselves. #TheTerritory@walela15 @BitateW @NeidinhaSurui
