Valiant effort but again just highlights sadly that we are more often than not just there to make up the numbers in these big games nowadays. Caps off what’s been an absolutely tragic season overall. Big summer ahead now
Can’t help but think a lot of how we do today depends on Gusto, he’s either great or horrendous, there’s no in between with him. Fingers crossed he’s great today 🤞🏻
@JFrosig@siphillipssport Agree 100%, also had big personalities in those squads.
May not have been the best technically but players like Dennis Wise, Mark Hughes, Steve Clarke etc etc wouldn’t be standing for what’s currently going on! It’s an absolute shambles. Really worrying!
Been supporting this over 40 years and never seen it this bad. Even in times we were shit you could hang your hat on a few characters but this squad is absolutely devoid of everything! Not a single decent character let alone footballer in the whole group
Ordinarily you’d be concerned about the effect that horror injury for Derry would have on the rest of the squads mentality going into the second half but I’d honestly be shocked if any of this squad gave a shit
Might do himself a favour if he stopped mollycoddling these morons telling them how outstanding each of them are and actually told them some home truths and try to stick a rocket up some backsides.
Unreal how we finished 27 points ahead of United last season and tonight they have the opportunity to go 10 points clear of us! A 37 point swing in less than a season, could be more come the end of the season!
Progress!
I mean seriously, what the fuck do we do in training all week?! Nearly 2 billion spent and currently 22 points behind Arsenal! What a shambolic failure at all levels
There’s no top 5 race, there never was! This squad they’ve built is a squad that will finish somewhere between 7th and 10th. Whether that’ll improve in time remains to be seen but at this present moment we are absolutely miles off over 38 games
