Grief is different each time it comes around. Wether it be the life you thought you lost or people you did lose. Each time hits different. Denial, devastation, anger are just a few emotions that make the struggle that much more real.
I will miss you. Your road was a rough one. For that I am sorry. I wish your kids the best. I tried to be there for you because I understood your struggle. 28 years to young.
This cancer game is a joke. I lost the best doctor I ever had to cancer. She was an amazing friend who called me to tell me personally that I had reached remission.
So it goes with our sweet Oana too. And in spite of Tralfamadorian wisdom, we were silly and cried when she was lying in bed, weightless and breathless, yet do agree that she only appeared to die. May she forever live in the hearts of all those people whose lives she touched...
