The team score and create more because of him, but also become easier to play through and less balanced overall because of him.
If your weakness constantly make the team suffer as a midfielder then your output doesn't make you positive.
Sanchez - Composure
James - Give him his 2021 hamstrings back
Fofana - Long passing
Colwill - PnP
Hato - More powerful first step
Caicedo - Make him a screener
Enzo - Make him an actual footballer
Palmer - Couple inches shorter
Steve - same as Hato
JP - Runner
Gittens - Runner
Yes it is his fault. But Cole should have been selected. Doesn’t need to start but he’s definitely a game changer. No eze or Madueke brings that threat CP can. Opponents will have to adapt to Cole coming on. Thats just my opinion though
When it comes to Cole, his problems are always everybody else’s fault. At least when it comes to this fan base. Fuck off. You must have half a brain cell to think this has anything to do with TT, it is entirely Cole Palmer’s fault that he did not get called up.
I’ll die on this hill.
Ashley Cole is the only truly world class talent England has ever produced.
Criteria: top 5 of all time in his position.
(Before you shout at me, I never saw Bobby Moore etc play. And the era was incomparably different)
Gittens, Delap, and Tosin.
Three players from the Kinetic Academy of Joe Shields who filled key positions that absolutely defined our season.
If any of these three produced even HALF of the players they replaced our prospect as a club would look entirely different yet all three completely failed this past season. Literally zero output across the board.
Now notice how we've had press briefings about why it makes sense to keep each of these players instead of talking about new signings...
There is rot in our club and if we don't call it out we're responsible.
Eghbali is either very very stupid or he is the one reason for this shitshow.
How can you expect the same sd’s who led you to 10th place finish after 4 years and unlimited budget and free will, to make us a top side again? You don’t need to know football to understand this.
I think it’s time to sell Palmer. Team is too umbalanced and there are more cons compared to pros in his signing and how he fits in the squad.
My ideal team.
As bad as Nico was in as a striker, he played a crucial part in our attacking gameplay and brought out the best in Cole.
They who wanted him banished, hope are happy to have Delap sky everything in his way
‼️Palmer created 22 chances in the Premier League for Noni Madueke in 2024-25 and 11 for Nicolas Jackson. Both players departed the following summer and Chelsea’s attacking chemistry went with them.

Fans want a manager who will do exactly what they would do.
Trusting an elite manager means you support them (at first anyway) regardless of whether you agree and have the humility to admit you know fuck all compared to them.
Who the hell am I to give advice on players or tactics to Jose, Pep or Alonso?
@Chels1an Instead if we sign likes of Delap and Gittens who just need a year or two to start showing something, the respectfully we are. Cole, Steve are yet doubtful when they will start hitting again
@Chels1an The reason we lost points are because of the shitty CB’s we have and there is no guarantee that whoever they buy will be better. We have a shitty front 3 as well with Cole not firing. And we are just going to make it worse selling Neto and co and not getting our primary targets
