Cheltenham Poetry Society’s Annual Awayday Writing Retreat at Bowden Hall, Upton St Leonards, May 2024. An enjoyable, productive day of thinking about – and writing – poetry. We wrote on themes of work and play, ‘down to earth’ and ‘out of this world’.
Just published: The Elements, an anthology of 59 poems by 17 poets, with 30 photographs, on themes of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Endorsed by David Clarke and Rona Laycock. Available from the poets or Eithon Bridge Publications https://t.co/EkTAwbSDBN

Fun wordy fact of the day for kids: the first freelancers were knights who weren’t attached to any single lord and master, and so were *free* to use their *lances*, or weapons, for anyone who paid them. #homeschooling
