@edmunds_dr I still think it would be fairer to exclude the question and have the papers out of 91. Then percentage reduce grade boundaries accordingly. Surely this will just lead to higher grade boundaries to compensate for the gift of 9 marks anyway.

@clarry_s3 Now I would model using a visualiser. Previously I've shown what my notes for the lesson would look like, then we compared and discussed +Ives & -ves of each others. I've taught chem & phys at Alevel, I've always found a clear idea of what their notes should look like useful.
