Day 2 in Chicago was another fun day for these BHS students. They spent some time at the Field Museum and Navy Pier before heading back home.

BHS Spanish and English had a great first day in Chicago. We started the day at Millennium Park, followed by a cooking demo, lunch and flamenco show at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba, a stroll through Oz Park, a visit to the Shedd Aquarium, dinner at Hard Rock Cafe and ended with Wicked.

@hummelsw @MyFedLoan Dealing with the same thing. I received a notice I was eligible to apply for forgiveness and then a day later received a notice that my qualifying payment amount was much lower due to something back in 2019. How can payments from 2 years again that were qualifying now not be?

@IKEAUSA After 45 mins on hold, I was told I need to drive 1.5 hours to return my fully assembled table for a piece that did not have the holes drilled. And will need to reassemble the new table with no guarantees the parts are all correct. Awesome customer service IKEA!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

@MyFedLoan I currently have 29 ineligible payments listed for my PSLF count. The payments were from when Direct Loan Servicing had my loans. I have requested a review and nothing has been done as of yet. I should be able to apply for loan forgiveness in October. Please review!!

With the restrictions in place for fall, I would love to see school districts encourage leaders to substitute one day a month to see what it’s like to be back in the classroom all day in these conditions and I think all politicians who make ed policies should as well!

Georgia is suspending standardized testing for the upcoming school year & formal teacher evals and are seeking to permanently cut certain tests. This will also save $10's of millions from the budget that can be used toward teacher pay, etc. Let's hope other states step up!
