It is now reported that Consolata Githinji, the 22-year-old Murang'a University of Technology student, met Odhiambo on a dating website.

After exchanging messages almost daily and reaching an agreement, Consolata travelled 85 kilometres to Nairobi last Saturday, April 25, for her first physical meeting with the 33-year-old man, with whom she spent the night.

A few hours later, Consolata Githinji was reported dead after falling from a sixth-floor apartment in Kileleshwa, with CCTV footage placing her at the scene at around 4:16 AM.
