Sports in Kansas 2023 Non-Senior Offensive Player of the Year – Small Classes🏈

Josh Burdick, Cheney Jr. QB

Burdick helped Cheney to the 3A state title going undefeated this fall for the first time in school history. The junior passed for 2,625 yards with 37 touchdowns to just three interceptions. Burdick and his weapons Jackson Voth, Colter McDaniel & Drew Tolar proved to be the perfect offensive combo this season. He also added 234 rushing yards on the ground with six more scores. Burdick has 4,851 yards passing in his career with 60 touchdowns for a 66% career completion percentage. He was a member of last seasons SIK Non-Senior team before taking home top offensive honors this season as non-senior. Burdick was also an honorable mention all-state catcher from Sports in Kansas last spring as a sophomore. His role model is his dad and his favorite food is a Big Mac. He tells us the one thing an average person wouldn’t know about him is that he can play the piano.
