Never be afraid to glorify God.
Amazing to see Team USA on the biggest stage there is at the World Cup praying after the game.
God is with us.

@glennbeck To your point, they cut around 200 designations. That more than anything should make folks anxious. Who is not now listed? They would fall under Other? Why the huge cut? Who does not now have access to a chaplain or religious services or worship opportunities?
@dgoates I concur. We cannot force others to accept us or our beliefs. I am more worried that the Defense Dept. decided to cut over 200 designations for religious groups and churches. It may be that some were incorrect, never used, etc. This will limit access for some to worship.
"In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost."

@BasedMikeLee So here is my concern. I was worried we weren't listed. I am glad we were. We should also be concerned about those now delisted. This speaks to a larger potential religious liberty issue.
In recognition of the 250-year anniversary of the founding of the United States of America as a free and independent nation, Elder Quentin L. Cook and I discussed the importance of religious liberty and its underlying significance for the restored Church of Jesus Christ.
We believe in religious liberty.
As the Eleventh Article of Faith reminds us, โWe claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.โ
โHence we say, that the Constitution of the United States is a glorious standard; it is founded in the wisdom of God. It is a heavenly banner; it is to all those who are privileged with the sweets of liberty, like the cooling shades and refreshing waters of a great rock in a thirsty and weary land. It is like a great tree under whose branches men from every clime can be shielded from the burning rays of the sun.โ
-Joseph Smith Jr.
"Increased time in the temple will help us prepare for the Second Coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not know the day or the hour of His coming. But I do know that the Lord is prompting me to urge us to get ready for that "great and dreadful day."

Happy Memorial Day. Thank you to all who have served. These are my ancestors, William and Emma Warner. He served in 3 conflicts from 1853-1867 protecting family, faith, & home. She supported at home by sewing & watching children of neighbors. What a legacy of faith & service.
