Just in case you haven’t seen this—I’m really happy to have contributed to this issue. I shared some thoughts on making art at home, focusing on women’s sugary works for banquets in Renaissance England.
Issue 19 is out now!
A special issue themed on art and architecture, it features a wide range of fantastic articles from emerging historians from across the globe.

Can anyone help me with this letter in #German? The correspondence between these guys (one in Colombia, the other one in the UK, in the 1890s) was almost all in English except a couple of letters in German when they spoke about some important things. 🙃
So happy that I passed viva this week🥳 Many thanks to my supervisor @gerritsen_anne for her guidance and support all along! I'm also grateful to my examiners @HistoryElaine and Luca Molà for their inspiring suggestions! It's a lovely discussion with you😄
