We disagree on a lot of things, Randy, But this ain’t one of em. We couldn’t be on further ends of the spectrum in our respective positions on ticketing, but at the end of the day we’re both blessed to even be in the position to have our opinions and express them without consequence. A magnificent 4th to you and everyone!
Nothing upsets me, Randy. We’re talking about tickets and live events, not cancer or ALS research. Things that actually matter. But it’s not about being upset or happy or any emotion that drives your entire position. I’m concerned with what’s right and wrong.
You’re also just flat out wrong. I assure you lack of transparency hurts fans more than it helps and you saying otherwise is disingenuous at best. It’s drives fomo, deception, and manipulation, and you know it. I’m all for #paystowait. It’s the cornerstone of what makes this so important. With your guidance, #paytowait will not exist. Period.
@jayxrrrr@Ticket_Help2022@LiveNation@forcemm Well prod releases are different than leaving stuff back for “super fans involved in the campaign.” Whatever that means. Regardless, transparency of what’s being held back, why, when they’re released, and how much they cost would certainly be nice to have.
@forcemm@StubHub@Ticketmaster Eh. I get what you’re saying but you really can’t compare the two. But it’s probly a conversation with a bit too much detail and nuance for x…or i’m too lazy to have it anyway…
If you want to discuss how to assure a fair and reliable distribution process, we can. Let’s work together Randy, my dms are open. But stop scapegoating people trying to make a few bucks while simultaneously making life miserable for regular consumers and regular Joe’s who genuinely can’t make a show who have to feel guilty about the possibility of selling tickets at a profit.
NOT. RELEVANT. intention does not matter. Yes the brokers wanna make money. So do sneaker kids, so do memorabilia/card collectors, and watch/jewelry brokers, and rare bourbon collectors. Sometimes they profit, sometimes they lose. The foundation and concept of the free market in this and any other business is absolutely paramount. That’s what matters and nothing else.
You and your ‘bad bet’ garbage. Nobody wants or expects sympathy for the loss. Completely irrelevant anyway. without that ‘bad bet’ consumers are stuck paying your absurd prices. The market speaks for itself and it’s imperative it stays for this and the zillion others examples like it.
That may be but that’s not what was said. Rather win without him is absurd. Literally nobody would say they only won bc of lebron. Also, for a team who up until about a year ago had the worst winning % in sports history, it’s crazy to pick and choose if and how you win. How fast the fanbase has become arrogant and entitled. Just lunacy.
@MaxJFulk@TicketVisionHQ He specifically referenced and I’m specifically responding to St. Paul. Aisle deal was $265-315 for awesome seats. Not far from FV.
@Ticket_Help2022@StubHub the thing is, these guys can't even get reliable or accurate maps up for shows that already went on sale, lket alone shows about to be going on sale. what on earth are the chances they could handle this type of undertaking?
@Hedgeye I just don’t get this. I look at houses all the time in the suburbs of Minneapolis and prices are sky high and selling quickly(ish). The nice houses in the nice areas seem to be just fine.
@DanBarreiroKFAN@Gaardsy Dying. gaardsys impressions are the best but that @SamMitchellNBA impression was so good he could start a podcast as Sam and it’d be #1 on @iHeartRadio by dinner time. So good. Assuming he can actually get the podcast up, I’m gonna go back later and listen again. Bravo JG!
Ask @stoolpresidente how fair and valid they are.
I’d say they certainly lean left, not that there’s anything wrong with that. But I’ve found them to be irresponsible with click bait and typically having an agenda and ignoring facts that may get in the way of that, especially when it comes to sensationalistic stories. But what do I know?
