@okay_red @hermitub Not knowing everything about him shouldn't be an excuse for toxic entitlement. You don't need to know someones medical history to treat them with basic respect. There's a massive difference between "I wish he played this song" and the aggressive bullying.
@TexanzNate Unfortunately, I don't think that is true though. I have seen many artists live and theres always people that complain about what was/wasnt performedband why certain songs are still on a setlist.
Breaks my heart how rude people are being about the setlist. THIS is why artists take massive hiatus'.
He was so excited to perform again and people are ruining it because they can't understand why he couldn't play his entire discography.
@fvckitstvck I love a lil mystery whimsy at a concert.
I just hope he doesn't sacrifice anything he loves to perform just to cater to the unrealistic expectation of making everybody happy.
I don't want him to exhaust himself trying to manage other people's emotions.
@fvckitstvck Trust me, I'd love to sit and listen to him play every single song he's ever written. But I can do that at home.
Plus, a lot of his songs are extremely heavy... I can only speak for myself here, but I'm not throwing on Call Your Mom when I'm trying to hype myself up..
I'm feeling awfully parasocial about @NoahKahan right now. As someone who struggles with severe anxiety, I can't even begin to imagine how upset he must be feeling.
Honestly makes me ill knowing he probably read more negative feedback than positive.
People just cant be happy
@NoahKahan You literally cannot make everyone happy. Don't set unrealistic expectations on yourself. Your setlist was a PERFECT balance of old and new music. I'm so sorry people are such whiney babies. Stay true to yourself. Play what makes YOU want to show up and be there.
