I just took part in the #BigPlasticCount, UK’s biggest investigation into household plastic waste. Here’s what I found really happens to my plastic waste:

♻️9% recycled
🌍13% sent abroad
🔥51% burnt
⛰️27% sent to landfill

@NadineDorries My husband is a key worker, I’m on extremely vulnerable list so we spent 14 months apart. I had my bday alone. I lost 3 relatives and couldn’t attend funerals. For those shielding every contact was a risk. Our lives stopped whilst you lot partied on. It’s disgusting! 😡
