The DK students celebrated 100 Days in School!! Students shared projects made at home, used various ways to count to 100, wrote about being 100 years old, and completed fun learning projects for the day! As their head band says, “100 Days Smarter!” #mylsps

Lunar New Year 2023 Part 2! DK students learned about cultural traditions and food while studying the Lunar New Year! The gold coins for good luck, the importance of the color red, how to use chopsticks, fortune cookies, and the importance of the dragon.@mylsps @lunarnewyear

Gung Hey Fat Choy! The DK students learned about the Lunar New Year the past two weeks. They made lanterns for the Year of the Rabbit and learned how to write “happy” using symbols and water colors! They are also painting a dragon on their page.@myLSPS @dklsps @lunarnewyear

We are differentiating instruction to meet the individual needs of the DK students in math. You can see that some are skip counting, while some are working on equations with and without manipulatives , as well as sequencing numbers on tiles! #mylsps #dklsps #mathstrategies
