@JayofVYZN @cjgproduxions I live in DC and go to school here those are not immigrants sir. I saw the police harassing many Black people and homeless people this weekend. What else you got?
@FlagBlack007 She obviously didn’t bother to learn the Greek history of Christianity. The Bible was written in Greek and was the first global language of Christianity. Also 90 % of Greeks today are Christians.
As #ADOS, we are the hope & dream of the slave, whereas some of y’all are the despair & disbelief of the African slave trader with sellers remorse.
I’m not here to protect him or his role in upholding neoliberalism and alienating key blocs deserves critique. But if that critique isn’t sharpening our strategy against the rise of white Christian nationalism and fascism in this moment, then it’s a distraction dressed up as depth. We need to keep our eyes on who’s actually pulling policy strings and weaponizing power today not just who has disappointed us in the past.
@JBPrattJrPhD Fair and I hear you. But there’s a pattern where critique of Obama becomes the default portal for Black political discourse, often flattening context and redirecting heat away from the systems actually squeezing us right now……
@JBPrattJrPhD Both can be true historical accountability and present urgency aren’t mutually exclusive. But hyper-focusing on Obama in this moment, when fascism is escalating in real time, risks misprioritizing the battlefield. Critique is necessary but timing, intent, and impact matter too.
We’re supposed to be in this DOGE Subcommittee to talk about waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government, right?
Soooo why are we in here talking about trans people? Last time I checked, trans people aren’t the ones ruining our country — it’s TRUMP and his little minions.
Yes, trade schools/programs are faster entry into the workforce and less student debt but you will also have less career flexibility, less of an earning ceiling and most are physically demanding. To obtain promotions and salary increases you have to go through more training and years experience. It’s worth exploring the difference in long term benefits of a HVAC license vs Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering.
