@FnahtanoJ@nicholadrummond@JakOSpades And for HK on the G95s to provide some documentation of evolutionary changes. Most can be seen, obviously, but the where and when would be nice to know.
@FnahtanoJ@nicholadrummond@JakOSpades We're kind of to the point of where HK is calling it the 416A8, and we're kind of stuck with that. Would love for the Royal Armouries to get a G95/G95A1 of some type, let alone a HK433 or even a 437 or G39.
@FnahtanoJ@nicholadrummond@JakOSpades Of course, this could be down to the follies of trials guns vs production evolution. It could be possible that the detachable deflector was added during development. Sadly, I think only HK in Germany would know for sure. Also, the Haenel MK556s I've seen didn't have them.
@FnahtanoJ@nicholadrummond The detachable deflector was one of the few things that remained from the original Bund trial spec A8s. Almost everything else was changed (handgaurd, grip, stock with no cheek riser, bolt hold open deactivation button, even the ambi mag release).
@FnahtanoJ@nicholadrummond G95K for the KSK/KSM is the 416A7. The G95A1/KA1 is the 416A8. There's also nearly identical export versions that are used by Luxembourg (A7) and Ukraine (A8). A8 has the lighter barrel, lightweight barrel nut extension and detachable brass deflector.
@vicjusticestar@F1@VictoriaJustice Wasn't expecting to see Victoria and Madison at motor racing event of any kind LOL. amfAR, yes, as they've supported that for years, but not the USGP in Vegas.
