All of this probably could have been avoided if the DNC didn't collude to screw Bernie in 2020. His more populist messaging would have likely won us 2020 and 2024. Instead we got stuck with weak candidates incapable of energizing people to go out and vote.
I'm probably going to spend less time on here in the wake of the election results so I'll just say this. Fuck the Democratic Party for focusing more on swaying Nikki Haley supporters to vote for Harris than actually energizing their base.
We need our own Trump. Someone unafraid of saying whatever the fuck he wants, but in service of left leaning politics. Moderate Dems are clearly losing tickets. Clinton failed, Harris failed, and Biden just delayed the inevitable. They can't win us elections anymore.
@TheRaspAndOnly@DrainBamager I just feel he would be a much better fit for that spot. Has a similar level of recognition as Jericho, but without the downsides of the fanbase being soured on him.
It pretty pathetic how Republicans feel entitled to say the most vile shit in the universe, but the moment they receive any kind of vitriol back they act shocked and offended. Nobody has a thinner skin than them.
Genuinely insane how the fanbase is collectively begging for Tony to get Jericho off TV and dissolve the Learning Tree and instead he just throws yet another title belt on the guy after that miserable FTW reign.
It feels like a bunch of people either wanted the show to end with Bojack completely redeeming himself or just completely hitting rock bottom with no way out. Instead they got something in the middle where Bojack is at a low point, but there is still some hope he might improve.
This a bad reading of the show. Even back in season 1 they made it clear the Bojack can't just expect clean forgiveness for the bad things he's done. True redemption is making the choice to grow and move forward despite the fact you can't cleanly move on from your past.
This was the point in the show when I realized that the whole theme is that redemption is impossible
No matter what you do you can never be allowed to move on
I was not a fan of the last season of Bojack cause it just seemed to make every that happened previous seem pointless
@SpectralAurora_ Depends on the RPG. If it's something like Baldur's Gate where I'm making a character from scratch I like to give the character a non default name. If it's like Final Fantasy where the main character has their own design and personality it just feels awkward to name them.
@AwestruckVox I like how SUF was largely an exploration of his character. I get that a lot of people were expecting and wanting SUF to be the series' equivalent of Dragon Ball Z, but for the time they had a short epilogue exploring Steven adjusting to no longer being needed is interesting.
Kind of want to finally try actually streaming tonight, but I'm not sure what to play. Torn between trying something new or playing something I have experience with.
Lesnar is a trash wrestler and a trash person. Bringing him back would not only take away a spot higher up the card for a younger, more talented wrestler, but also would be ignoring the fact he's a sex pest involved in the Vince allegations.
BREAKING: Per WrestleVotes, WWE is interested in bringing back Brock Lesnar. There are potentially ongoing talks between both parties.
🚨🚨🚨
BROCK LESNAR IS COMING BACK‼️
There is an entire episode of Sopranos dedicated to the cast going to Italy and realizing that they don't actually feel any real attachment to the culture they've defined their lives around and people will still unironically post scenes like this at face value.
@RApollos@KXNGAO Agreed. They're amazing, but it feels like AEW has made the tag division revolve around them and FTR instead of building up the other teams. YB and FTR are goats, but you need fresh faces at the top of the division.
