These were Naya’s words, you can see the HAPPINESS in her EYES ❤️, her innocent words that brought tears to my eyes and weighed on my heart. Potatoes—a simple thing for many, but missing from her childhood for so long. A few days ago, she spoke to me with sadness in her voice, saying she could no longer bear the usual breakfast of spices, za’atar, and homemade chocolate. She told me she wanted something different, something that would make her feel like other kids. Recently, she hasn’t even felt hungry for breakfast.

Today’s breakfast was somewhat expensive, costing about 80 shekels, which is roughly $22! And this is our life—our daily meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, cost around $60! And there are countless other expenses!
