Bleasby Christmas lights switch-on!🎄 🎅🏻 Despite the weather, the lights came on with a cheer. Carols were sung merrily in the Church afterwards 🎶 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Chestnut Class and Oak Class are enjoying an exciting day of learning based on our enquiry work at Mansfield Museum. I wonder what awaits us this afternoon…
Creative work from Chestnut Class during our drama workshop about Beowulf and Grendel. Can you guess the parts of the story in the freeze frames? @MansfieldMuseum
Chestnut Class were treated to some delicious Anglo-Saxon oatcakes, as part of our latest creative homework project. 😋👏🏻 The range of project ideas has been amazing - more photos to follow next week… @Minster_History@Minster_DT
The newly formed Bleasby Book Club (BBC). A space to read, share books and enjoy a time to read with others 📚. Meeting every Friday (at the moment, trying to figure out more days). KS2 for the time being but hoping to expand 😊
So proud of the respect shown by Years 4, 5 and 6 when we tuned into the @Literacy_Trust@PoppyLegion#Remembrance live assembly. It was a poignant 2 minutes as we held silence and remembered with schools across the country. Our younger children sewed beautiful poppies.
We are looking forward to our harvest service tomorrow - the gifts for the food bank you have already given are looking great. Plenty of space for more tomorrow though!!
Here is Reverend Phil (yesterday morning - he’s so tired he got his days mixed up!) about to embark on the next leg of his San de Camino challenge. This weekend Bleasby School are going to support him by completing his 420 miles between us this weekend. Go for it!!
Our TAs, MDSA’s and teachers have all been busy over the last two training days. We are REALLY looking forward to having our school full of children again today!
We’re thinking of our 2023 leavers with great excitement as they head for their first day @minster_school . Make the most of the wealth of fantastic opportunities you will have there!
Reverend Phil is on his way. Bleasby School, we are going to have to do a lot of pedalling to keep up as he has a head start on us. See just how much of a head start he has by the 6th Sept by clicking here… https://t.co/i9JzmksFMo
You can tell from the excited look on this grey squirrel’s face that someone is reading a very good book and he’s crept round to listen in. But who is reading? The tree is a clue… #caughtreading
