@selslovr It sucks that not everyone will get them but they cant make unlimited amounts of everything. Other artists do it basically every release, but this is the first time Taylor has done a limited pressing since folklore, it’s just part of the vinyl industry.

@selslovr I agree that the “only available for 48 hours” messaging on vinyl that they know they’ll end up restocking is annoying but…this is actually a limited pressing. That’s what almost every artist does through their web store, Blood Records, other retailers, etc. (1/2)

@Bob_Rehlinger @usereyleau @anticharted Bob Dylan is one of the most revered artists and his voice is shit. But his songs are his stories and his voice is the vessel they’re told through. Taylor’s voice isn’t like high class vocalist level, but it has served plenty well to be the vessel of her stories.

@Dvfxoxo (PS, the Red section of the Eras tour, All Too Well aside, is the weakest part of the show and is purely for the locals to hear the hits from that album, which were the worst songs on the album lol. It should’ve been songs like State of Grace, Holy Ground, Treacherous, etc

@Dvfxoxo Taylor is nowhere near the performer Beyonce is, just like Beyonce is nowhere near the songwriter Taylor is. They show their art in different ways. I love them both and go to them for different reasons, there’s room for both of them.

All that to say…the Bey/Tay debate is never one that’s going to be simple because they’re completely different artists with completely different strengths. They each excel in areas that the other doesn’t quite as much, and that’s ok. They can both exist!

I’d also argue that while Tay can’t sing or dance like Bey can, Bey can’t write like Taylor can.

Now, I get that she has written very simple, surface level hits like shake it off and 22. But the bulk of her discography has more to it…listen to folklore and evermore
