Reports are Jack Smith's prosecutors have a private meeting with corrupt Judge Aileen Cannon on Wed 1/31, in Trump's classified documents case. Joyce Vance has described it as and "oddly scheduled meeting" bc there is another Cannon/Smith only meeting w/o Trump lawyers scheduled to go over classified info that can't be released to the defense.

What to make of this? We know Cannon is deeply corrupt, stalling, sabotaging and certainly back-channelling info to Trump through intermediaries. She has succeeded in stalling the trial so it won't happen this year. She has done just enough dirty work for Trump to stall it, but not be removed from the trial.

So why does Cannon want this meeting w/ Smith if she's already stalled the trial. Imo it's bc Jack Smith dropped a bomb in a previous filing saying he knows why Trump stole the documents, what he was doing with them and will prove it in court. Cannon wants to find out what it is that Smith knows so she can feed it back to Trump through intermediaries and/or try to forbid Smith from putting it in a new filing that the public sees. A new Smith filing showing Trump sold classified secrets to adversaries would destroy his election chances. Trump is highly vulnerable to the information Smith knows but hasn't yet shared.

Interestingly Smith's right hand, J.P. Cooney filed his appearance in SDFL today. Cooney has extensive public corruption experience- he saw Bill Barr's corruption first hand when Barr sought to have Roger Stone's prison sentence reduced. Smith's team won't tell Cannon anything and the 11th Circuit appeals court will step on her again for her predictable retaliation attempt. Imo there are eyes on Cannon's corruption and it wouldn't be a surprise if she gets caught in the act and is removed from the case.
