Tonight a millionaire or maybe even a billionaire will read my post and will scroll on by… many more with the ability to help will look the other way. Also tonight another child will go to bed hungry , a single mother will pray for help in feeding her family. My goal is to raise funds so when the holidays roll around again it will be the day even if for one meal that prayer is answered. My goal is simple, I’m not trying to raise 100 thousands of dollars, just enough to get out 100 boxes of food to families in rural communities during the holiday. We gave out 50 boxes on Thanksgiving for the last 2 years and I’m hoping to double it this year. I start fundraising early because donations “dry up” the closer it gets. When you start to lose your faith in humanity, which is easy to do when seeing people celebrating the death of people like Lindsey Graham, and seeing all the hateful rhetoric and far left extremism, just remember, God did not lose his faith and he sent Jesus to die for our sins. Best thing to do is just pray… pray for your friends, your families, your enemies, our leaders.

People just can’t stand the fact that you are successful. They want to take money you EARNED by taxing it. They try to justify it but really it’s just legalized theft. Sad. I live mostly pay check to pay check but I don’t feel like I have a right to money I did not earn. Sure there are people who can’t work due to health or handicap but that is a shared problem for all tax payers. No one should be singled out. The ones crying the loudest about your fortune are truly just jealous that they do not have the same level of intelligence or success as you. I’m sure you do more than your share in helping others but that needs to be your choice!

understand the skeptism. I’m in a community of less than 400 people. 100% of funds raised go for boxes of quality food and when funds allow also includes a turkey or ham or both. each box filled feeds a family of 8. Believe what you want but I have never kept a dime and donate my self to this cause. I literally pass a hat at church and at work to raise money.

I had the pleasure of attending the Women’s Retreat at Falls Creek this weekend. The one message I heard that has changed me the most and lifted a burden that was heavy to carry came from @SheilaWalsh “Your true identity is not defined by labels you wear. The label that defines your identity is that you are a beloved daughter of The King of kings. Thank you Sheila, you have no idea of the impact that one truth will have on my life!
