Howdy, hunter! I'm an artist and Twitch streamer. I don't post art here due to AI scraping so if you want to come see my art, go to BSky! As for streaming, I mainly like Pokémon and Monster Hunter but I stream a variety of games like Warframe! Come join the hunts Friday - Tuesday
I hate that I've reached a point with art where I look at my things and go "Is this too AI-ish?"
Like I can't even just sort of enjoy my work anymore without worrying someone is gonna "call me out" for something I'm not doing just because I did it weird
White Fatalis was literally called "Old Fatalis" so if Fatalis can become even stronger through age what stops other monsters from doing the same? Obviously nothing if Abyssal exists. I don't think I have a point to this brain dump but it's fun and interesting to think about.
Zenith monsters seem to be described in a way that suggests they're just old. Like if you live long enough you become super powered... And monsters in the series get stronger with higher star levels. So does that mean lower star levels = younger and less experienced mon?
So does that make Abyssal just a weaker Zenith? Are Deviants just Zeniths with a new coat of paint or are the elders of a species just referred to differently in different parts of the Monster Hunter universe? Maybe Port Tanzia just has a quirky name for Deviants?
Nintendo: “I’m SORRY??? ARE YOU ACTUALLY MAKING FAN GAMES?? FUCK YOU”
Also Nintendo: “No one will notice we used AI and traced fan work for our card game :)”
It can’t just be a cute picture or a funny video anymore, I gotta question whether it’s real before I can fully enjoy it
AI can be cute and funny but it’s cuter and funnier if it’s real ya know?
"Remember how I used to kiss you
You can kiss that all goodbye
Remember how I used to miss you
Now you don't even cross my mind"
My guy, you're singing a whole ass song about her.
What do you MEAN she doesn't cross your mind
dawg I just spent all day yesterday learning how to code a new evolution method in assembly for my Crystal romhack and then I made it work today I am so fucking ecstatic bro holy shit
I've noticed that in the Pokemon art style, the shading is made up of simple shapes. Very rarely will they get complicated with the shading, it's usually a straight line or a curve. Some exceptions like fur, feathers and some legendaries exist but it's interesting.
