Last week, in preparation for uni life / independent living, Explorers prepared a 'meal for a fiver'.
Given a recipe card, teams had to go to the local supermarket armed with £5 to buy ingredients to cook a dish using a variety of means.

It’s been an action packed weekend for Cheshire Scouts, with the Cheshire Mountaineering team taking 20 Explorer up Ben Nevis yesterday! A fantastic achievement and some future permit holders in the making!
Yesterday we welcomed over 1,000 Beavers, Cubs, Leaders and Volunteers to Forest Camp Activity Centre for our #cheshirefundays24, to try water activities, climbing, archery and much more!
We’re looking forward to doing it all again today for more Beavers and Cubs from Cheshire!
It’s #VolunteersWeek and I’d like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to our 3,000+ Cheshire Scouts volunteers. Without your creativity and commitment, we could not provide life changing fun, challenge and adventure to thousands of young people across Cheshire. Thank You 🤗
