12 months since this article in @yourChesham. Explains how process and bureaucracy have held back urgently needed investment. Whether pro or con plans in our consultation, your feedback and ideas will help get the 'very serious debate' going again

How to reverse inadequate infrastructure investment? #ChilternCouncil failed to adopt Plan, @BucksCouncil#LocalPlan several years away. Anyway do we want all decisions in hands of remote Council officers? @CheshMasterplan seeks to give Chesham a voice https://t.co/0BaAhZui2I
Flooding, drainage, sewage issues highlight need for joined-up development as argued by @CheshMasterplan. The 'pretty pic' is not a detailed application, but concept on which feedback is genuinely invited. Link: https://t.co/0BaAhZui2I

Our consultation is for a scheme which we believe will bring vibrancy to the town centre, with new accommodation, and opportunities for employment, hospitality and economic benefit. Please be assured that we agree that car parking is key.
Some respondents have asked where the Star Yard parking has gone in our proposal. The proposal is to have ample parking capacity below the development, not less than the original capacity plus the requirements of the new dwellings.

Those wondering whether an objection to draft #LocalPlan at this late stage would carry weight can take heart from HS2 review. Deadline is midnight Friday, here's how you can add your voice: https://t.co/Ys1JG4hYKa https://t.co/kHIlAD6K81
What happens if residents of #Chesham convince Govt Inspector that ignoring @CheshamMasterplan makes draft Local Plan unsound?
Modifications relating directly to reasons for unsoundness can be recommended; if unable to make sound & compliant, Inspector must recommend non-adoption

A ‘call for sites’, rather than a carefully considered assessment of sites, including suitable brownfield land, across the whole Plan area? A key difference between draft #LocalPlan and @CheshMasterplan, which has been ignored.
Just 3 days left to comment: https://t.co/Ys1JG4hYKa
.@CheshMasterplan has been developed to present a vision of a sustainable, regenerated #Chesham. How does 500 homes on Green Belt on Chesham's periphery achieve such a goal?
