Wild take here.
If a person decides they want to transition they should be required to undergo a full psych evaluation. Itd be extremely benificial for two man reasons.
1. Transgenderism is a mental illness. Doesnt mean its evil or bad, just that its much easier to navigate and live with when helped by a professional, like any mental illness.
2. If the psychologist deems them to be non threatening and something like this happens, where, despite having no documented mental health issues, they clearly are troubled. The psychologist can be held liable for monetary damages to the effected families and depending on how extreme the negligence shown is can be held criminally liable as an accessory and lose their license.
