I got a couple of emails recently about the Bryan High School Boys' powerlifting team, and I think it’s worth giving these young men some recognition. 💪

One message came from a proud sibling who shared that Chester Gooden Jr. is headed to state… and get this… he’s deadlifting 700 pounds. That’s some serious strength and dedication. (That's the video attached)

Another email highlighted the entire Bryan High powerlifting team and the hard work these athletes have put in all season. Early mornings, after-school workouts, and a lot of discipline have paid off, with several athletes making it to the regional competition and multiple lifters now advancing to state.
