Chestermere Lake was once a source of ice for the City of Calgary-- controversy arose in the 1940s about safety. Dr. Hill allayed fears. The c1937 Sea Cadet icehouse still stands in @CampChestermere See more in the display @ChestermereLib @CityChestermere
