@moelane@jimgeraghty Because if we unilaterally are the good guys the Republicans get to make policy. It’s quite convenient for some on the right to stand there sometimes speaking out against what has become of their party but also getting policy wins and court rulings they have wanted for decades.

@JayCaruso It’s just hard to tolerate when you have the “responsible” people on the right lecture the left about character but the try to convince us that James Talarico is so extreme that they must support Paxton but we are the craven power hungry hypocrites
@carinemhajjar@DominicJPino It’s kind of hard to take this from the right when they’ve be trying to convince themselves and us that any decent person should obviously ditch Platner but James Talarico is too something and that’s why it’s ok to not ditch Paxton
