@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS Also Tom and Jerry could go dark ie the Two Mousketeers episode where Tom gets Guillotined lol or the one where it ends with an implied double suicide (Blue cat blues-the 50s were wild)
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS Season 1 had some not light hearted moments (mild fantasy violence am such also The Pinkie Pie insanity sequence lol) . Equestria girls too. Pony life idk never watched it, was more comedy driven I heard so wasn't interested
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS Not really as someone who actually watched the film they didn't pander to the bronies . Pg13 is a harsh rating for something that barely qualifies as a PG
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS The tamest most benign least edgy kids film barney's great adventure has a rude character (the older brother) and a poop joke
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS Even movies like Cinderella (a bona fide classic) have more intense momements (the sisters destroying her homemade dress in a violent way)
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS Some of the old g rated ones are more intense than mlp. Example: Secret of Nimh surprisingly rated G . Some very freaky scenes. Great movie though a masterpiece of animation
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS The child exploitation I get since child actors really are treated horribly (industry wide issue too and something we all should advocate against).
Not sure what you mean on the sexualizing aspect.
They handle it badly but it's not a crime just cautious cringe in many aspects
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS It's not really a crime ot put mild action in a kids movie my dude. What I'm saying is if your kid can handle things like the Lion King, mlp won't bug them at all.
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS I'd also argue the emoji movie is more harmful to kids in the long run by a parent's standard (based on the sheer balls of the unsubtle advertising in it)
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS These parents must only be letting their kids watch Cocomelon or something tbh. It's honestly very tame in terms of animated kid movie peril. On the level of Disney or DreamWorks' milder works at most.
I'd recommend actually watching it tbh.
@IGN This is a really bad review.
Were you expecting it to just be a screen with separate camera sections like one of those game play with clips of other stuff tiktok videos ????
@UltimateTitans0@JoshuaTookes@Gumball4MVS As someone who has actually seen that movie its less intense than a good chunk of classic Disney films.
You can't go by thumbnails with anything mlp related either (there was a whole section of the Fandom devoted to making It creepy/scary)
