I don’t think people realize how many of these cases go unheard or not noticed bc there isn’t some big news story about it. If you work at a state hospital, you will come across patients who experienced the same situation and had the same devastating result.

Stories and cases like this are why I am so serious about pursuing mental health as my focus for my MSW. My Thesis is on raising awareness and normalizing PPD/Postpartum Psychosis while touching on reasons people do not seek treatment or receive it.

Being a SAHM seems great until it becomes who you are & leaving the house seems so out of your comfort zone but at the same time you want to do anything but be home. Being a SAHM seems great until you’re the boring friend no one wants to hang out with.
