Taproot Wizards announced today that they have raised $30M USD in their Series A round.

What are Taproot Wizards?

TLDR: It's a Bitcoin Ordinals project, without going into nerd stuff, let's just say it's an OG collection.

They're not on the market yet, but in the making for a long time now, you may have seen people showering in wizard clothes to secure a WL spot.

Taproot Wizards are closely related to Quantum Cats, an existing Ordinals collection that was minted for 0.1 BTC last year.

Since the raise was announced, Quantum floor price pumped by +21%.

There have been some rumors in the past that holding a (few) Cats will give you a Taproot Wizards WL spot, however there is no official confirmation of this.

Most Ordinals were on a downtrend since December, Quantum Cats outperformed, and the raise might hint that Taproot Wizards launch is close.
