SO many 2-strike counts. SO many 1st inning errors. Near 40 pitches in an inning is not what you want for Steele ever, but especially this early in the season with not much build up. Might be one and done
I personally don’t feel like we have the strongest defensive players on the field right now. Most of these hits could have definitely been stopped by other defensive players.
Steele is doing fine compared to some of the pitching we saw yesterday, defense needs to step up.
