I’ll never tell someone how they should vote, you need to do your own research & figure out who you think would represent you the best when you do please think about what the CTU stands for before voting for one of their candidates.

Two days after being taken off an ankle monitor, he beat a homeless man to death on the Northwest Side, prosecutors allege.
Court records show he has been arrested 5 times this year — six if you count the murder.

The number of drivers who don’t move for ambulances, fire trucks, and police downtown is frightening. That should be a $1,000+ fine. People’s lives are on the line.
.@GovPritzker raised Illinois' minimum wage in 2019.
You'll never guess what happened next.
Haha just kidding.
Unless you're new here, you know that:
>Illinois employment is again on the decline (after briefly rebounding to pre-covid levels)
>Illinois is now one of only seven states whose workers' real wages have shrunk with inflation since 2019
>the exact same thing happened the last time California did this
We called it and we kept the receipts.

I am honored to announce that I have received the endorsement of the @PapaChicago Polish American Police Association! 🇺🇸
As the wife of a police officer, this endorsement carries a deeply personal meaning for me.
I know what it means to have someone you love put on a uniform, walk out the door, and dedicate their day to protecting others. I also understand the sacrifices made by law enforcement families who stand behind those serving our communities.
Public safety is not just another issue on my campaign platform. It is personal.
My commitment to Illinois’ 1st Congressional District includes supporting law enforcement, strengthening community trust, addressing violent crime, and ensuring that federal public safety investments deliver measurable results.
Safer streets are one of the central commitments of my Results First agenda.
I am grateful to the Polish American Police Association for recognizing that commitment and extending its endorsement.
Thank you for your trust, your service, and your support.
Safer Streets. Stronger Communities. Results First.

A 65-year-old man confronted them about tagging a Red Line train downtown.
They attacked him and sprayed his face with spray paint, CPD says.
Now, detectives need a little help figuring out who they are.

Following are judges that the Safe Streets Administrators believe should receive a no vote for retention on the ballot in November for their weakness on public safety. After their name is a brief reason why this recommendation is made.
A voter will see many more judges on the ballot for retention than those listed here. The reason is Cook County has 8 divisions and most, such as Chancery for example, which handles business disputes, do not impact public safety.

My latest for @CityJournal reacts to the outcry over the ICE shooting of Oscar Belgal.
“Why have so many rallied around a figure as unsympathetic as Belgal? There are only two plausible answers, and neither reflects well on the city’s progressives.”

Migos Fine Foods on Montrose near Milwaukee was broken into this morning.
This isn’t new, it wasn’t even the only business this happened to in the past 24 hours. There’s a problem in Chicago & our “leaders” don’t want to address it until they can find out how it will financially or politically benefit them.
He just got paroled for a robbery that left a man dead.
Now he’s accused of trying to carjack two teenagers in front of Chicago cops.
