So I just checked out the MTG Premodern format and it kinda speaks to my soul 😅

I found that one of my all-time favorite decks in any TCG "The Rock" is viable in the format and immediately dug out some of my old cards.

I may need to put this together 🤔

This is because the card pool is insanely deep and we have less performance data which has created a more diverse competitive landscape.

Give it a few more years to fully catch on but I think we’re back to the 90s with how competitive Magic feels right now.

@KeiruKeiruRNG If you're going to run a copy then $2 seems like a fine price to grab one but if you're thinking about it as a spec I would avoid personally (for now). I think there will be plenty of time to get copies for $1-2 a surprise Standard deck that runs it.

@mrfitzyfitz Exactly how I feel. Until this past weekend I hadn’t played since last August and I just forget how powerful Ring is. I got it T1 and T2 once each over the weekend and the early part of those two games looked so much different than all the other ones for me. It warps the curve.
